Scent Stories

"We gravitate towards sweet scents, with a bit of an edge, like Maison Francis Kurkdjian Baccarat Rouge and D.S. & Durga Debaser. So Sunday was love at first sniff with its balance of horchata and green tea. After stocking up today, we went off to get ice cream: the perfect way to start the weekend!" -Earl and Desiree, impossibly photogenic couple with great taste in fragrance

"My scent style is probably best described as 'witch wandering through the forest clutching her leather-bound spell books'. Ineke Idyllwild is my ‘witch in the Californian redwood forest’ scent. And now Règime de Fleurs Falls is my ‘witch on a tropical rainforest vacation.’” -Trasan, fragrance enchantress

"I was looking for something to wear to a Trixie Mattel drag show last weekend. Trixie actually has her own celebrity scent, but it's been out of stock for months. Dirty Violet was made for Violet Chachki, Trixie's Season 7 sister, so it seems equally appropriate. It's a little darker and sexier than I usually go for, with all the patchouli, but the occasion called for it, I think." -Jenn, graphic designer/dog mama

"I'm getting married to the nicest man I've ever met this summer. We're keeping everything pretty low-key: the venue is a brewery, the dress is from Rent The Runway. All of my mental energy is going towards finding my wedding scent instead! I wore Prada Infusion d'Iris on our first date, and Willows feels like a next-level version of that: warmer, richer, creamy. Now all that’s left to do is find someone to make cake toppers of our cats." -Natalie, bride-to-be, cat mom, iris aficionado

"I'm new to niche fragrances, and Floraïku's Flowers Turn Purple is the perfect mix of intriguing and cool. For me, the scent smells like someone very comfortable in their skin, very mature, enjoying an evening out."-Damion, scent adventurer/new niche fragrance fanatic

Scent storytime! THREE Arielle Shoshana Sunday customers, each more adorable than the next, with three different reasons to wear Sunday:
"It's a scent I've never smelled before, but still something you could wear every day." -Katie

"It's like curling up on the couch with a blanket on Sunday morning."-Sarah

"It reminds me of the month I spent in Japan." -Minh
