What is your return policy?

Arielle Shoshana happily accepts returns of unopened merchandise within 30 days of purchase. We apologize, but we cannot accept returns of opened products in order to guarantee product authenticity. We are happy to provide samples of all purchases so you can make sure you love your new fragrance before opening the box. 

Please expect up to 4-6 business days for order processing, and an additional 1-3 business days for delivery. Thank you so much for your patience. We apologize in advance for any such delays and will keep you updated every step of the way. When your order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with your tracking number.

Please make sure your shipping address is correct. Orders that are returned to us because of an invalid address may be reshipped at your expense.

After an order has been confirmed by the carrier as delivered to the shipping address, we cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen packages. Since we cannot provide a refund or replacement for lost or stolen packages, please choose a secure delivery address. Can you ship internationally?

We are only able to ship to the US and Canada at this time. If this changes, we'll let you know asap! 

What is your covid-19 protocol? 

Masks are recommended (just ask if you need one!). Team Arielle Shoshana is fully vaccinated and masked!

Are these fragrances for women or men?

All of our fragrances are 100% unisex(y), and can be enjoyed by any gender!

Do these fragrances contain synthetics? 

Yes, most of them do. Our fragrance brands use a mix of natural and synthetic ingredients. The synthetic ingredients used in perfumery undergo extensive testing for safety and allergenic potential. In fact, many natural materials have recently been restricted by IFRA for their allergenic risk, including lemon, vanilla, oakmoss, and carnation. However, we do carry an absolutely fantastic all-natural line: Ormaie

Do you have vegan products?

Yes, our current vegan lineup of products includes: Dedcool, D.S. & Durga, Imaginary Authors, Gallivant, Liis, and Nomad Noé!

What's the difference between eau de toilette, eau de parfum, and all those other ones? 

"Eau de..." refers to the concentration of fragrance oil in a perfume. The traditional definitions:

Eau de Toilette: 4-10% concentration of fragrance oil

Eau de Parfum: 8-15% concentration of fragrance oil

Parfum/Extrait: 15-25% concentration of fragrance oil

Eau de Toilette is the lightest version of a fragrance, Eau de Parfum is the standard fragrance concentration, and Parfum is the strongest and most long-lasting concentration.

Will you sell or send me samples? 

We are happy to offer 3 complimentary samples in-store and with online orders. If there is a specific sample you'd like with your order, email us at info@arielleshoshana.com, or add it to the notes section in your cart.

How do I find my signature scent? 

Take our quiz! Alternately, tell us what you typically wear, what makes you happy, what mood you want the scent to evoke, etc, via email (info@arielleshoshana.com), and we'll help you find the perfect scent.

How do I get fragrance to last longer?

Layering fragrance is a great way to build longevity. We have fantastic body washes, hair mists, and lotions you can pair with your scent. Also, spraying a bit of your scent on clothing will prolong the development phase. There is also an excellent product called Fragrance Lock that works as a fixative for your fragrance, available at many drugstores.

Where should I apply fragrance?

Generally, pulse points are recommended, so inside your wrists, the neck, behind the ears and elbows, are all great spots. 

Does fragrance expire? 

Not at all. Alcohol is self-preserving. There are so many vintage fragrances out there that are decades old, and while the top notes may smell a bit off, if it has been stored properly, it will dry down fine. To preserve your fragrance properly, store it away from heat, humidity, and direct sunlight. It will last down to the last spritz this way!

Why can't I smell my fragrance anymore?  

Repeated exposure to the same fragrance can result in a decreased ability to perceive the fragrance, called "nose blindness". The best way to avoid this is by rotating your perfumes, or taking a quick break from your favorite fragrance.

Do you ever do sales or discounts?

We do not offer discounts on our products. But, we're big believers in samples, and will always include a curated mix  with your purchase, promise! (If you'd like to try something specific, just add it to the "notes" section at checkout.) And we ship for free on orders $75 and up! And, lastly: we do have a rewards program!
