Orange blossom is at the heart of Sana Jardin, a luxury perfume house created around the principle that social good can smell good. Orange blossom is traditionally harvested only once a year in Morocco, leaving harvesters without a consistent year-round income. Sana Jardin trains female harvesters to "upcycle" orange blossom water, traditionally considered a waste byproduct of the orange blossom extraction process, into products like candles and culinary flavorings. Selling these products creates a new, year-round income source for harvesters, and puts a dent in the 900 tons of orange blossoms sent to landfills every year.
As you might expect, Berber Blonde is absolute orange blossom heaven, a gorgeous celebration of every possible extract the bitter orange tree has to offer. Petitgrain, the essential oil produced by extracting bitter orange leaves, creates tart, green top notes. Neroli, the prized essential oil extracted from the orange blossom itself, brings a sunny sweetness.
