Greta Garbo was reportedly so outraged by the final scene of 1946 film La Belle et La Bête, in which the Beast transforms into a prince, that she leapt out of her movie theater seat to declare, "Give me back my beast!" Ma Bête, an unapologetically old-school fragrance that evokes a fur stole soaked with 1950's-era aldehydes, is a beast straight out of Garbo's fairy tales.
